Why China Afraid of Military Confrontation with USA

scarlborough shoal

Here are the facts that China don't want a military confrontation with USA. We all know that Chinese military equipment are lagged in technology with that of the United States. US military spending is far the largest of all 17 countries combined, plus the US has the best military equipment in the world. I will present the latest tech that the US has. In case the Chinese wage war against the Philippines because of the tension in Scarborough shoal, the US is willing to help us in this situation. 60% of the US NAVY warship will be soon position in the south east asia in the year 2020.

Reason number 1

f-22 raptor
F-22 Raptor - The Lockheed Martin/Boeing F-22 Raptor is a single-seat, twin-engine fifth-generation supermaneuverable fighter aircraft that uses stealth technology. It was designed primarily as an air superiority fighter, but has additional capabilities that include ground attack, electronic warfare, and signals intelligence roles.[5] Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is the prime contractor and is responsible for the majority of the airframe, weapon systems and final assembly of the F-22. Program partner Boeing Defense, Space & Security provides the wings, aft fuselage, avionics integration, and training systems.

****China has no equipment to detect this stealth fighter jet, the f-22 raptor can easily penetrate the airspace of china.

Reason number 2

uss nimitz carrier
There are 11 super aircraft carriers currently in service in the U.S. fleet not included the medium carrier here, I only present the super carrier of US. One of the example is USS Nimitz Class carrier. China has only one aircraft carrier bought in Ukraine the Varyag and it is obsolete. This carrier has old technology and I don't think it can challenge the giant of USA..

****Nuclear powered aircraft carrier is the greatest threat to China's ambition in expansion in south east asia

Reason number 3

airborne laser
The US Air Force airborne laser, (ABL), designated YAL-1A, is a high-energy laser weapon system for the destruction of tactical theatre ballistic missiles, which is carried on a modified Boeing 747-400F freighter aircraft.

Boeing is responsible for programme management, systems integration, battle management system and modification of the 747-400F aircraft. TRW is building the laser systems. The ABL is being developed by the Air Force Research Laboratory and Team ABL, comprising Boeing, TRW (now Northrop Grumman Space Technologies) and Lockheed Martin.
Lockheed Martin Space Systems is responsible for the target acquisition and beam control systems.

**** China obviously don't have this one. If the war going to be nuclear, the US has the ability to destroy multiple incoming ICBM from China.

Reason number 4

x-47 drone
The X-47B is a tailless, strike fighter-sized unmanned aircraft currently under development by Northrop Grumman as part of the U.S. Navy’s Unmanned Combat Air System Carrier Demonstration (UCAS-D) program. Under a contract awarded in 2007, the company designed, produced and is currently flight testing two X-47B aircraft. In 2013, these aircraft will be used to demonstrate the first carrier-based launches and recoveries by an autonomous, low-observable-relevant unmanned aircraft. The UCAS-D program will also mature relevant carrier landing and integration technologies, and demonstrate, in 2014, autonomous aerial refueling by the X-47B aircraft.

****  The X-47B is design to gather information or spy mission over enemy airspace without being detected. This unmanned drone has a stealth features and striking capable.

Reason number 5

The littoral combat ship (LCS) is the first of a new family of surface ships for the US Navy. The LCS is a fast, highly manoeuverable, networked surface combat ship, which is a specialised variant of the family of US future surface combat ships known as DD(X). LCS is designed to satisfy the urgent requirement for shallow draft vessels to operate in the littoral (coastal waters) to counter growing potential 'asymmetric' threats of coastal mines, quiet diesel submarines and the potential to carry explosives and terrorists on small, fast, armed boats.

**** The LCS can easily outgun any chinese combat ship in the south east asia. It is stealthy and was design to counter china threat in the region.

Reason number 6

us bases around the world
The total of America's military bases in other people's countries in 2005, according to official sources, was 737. Reflecting massive deployments to Iraq and the pursuit of President Bush's strategy of preemptive war, the trend line for numbers of overseas bases continues to go up.

Using data from fiscal year 2005, the Pentagon bureaucrats calculated that its overseas bases were worth at least $127 billion -- surely far too low a figure but still larger than the gross domestic products of most countries -- and an estimated $658.1 billion for all of them, foreign and domestic (a base's "worth" is based on a Department of Defense estimate of what it would cost to replace it).

**** This US bases around the world encircle China. If China want to attack USA, then it will first destroy US bases near him.

Reason number 7

new york city
The US has the largest and most technologically powerful economy in the world, with a per capita GDP of $47,200. In this market-oriented economy, private individuals and business firms make most of the decisions, and the federal and state governments buy needed goods and services predominantly in the private marketplace. US business firms enjoy greater flexibility than their counterparts in Western Europe and Japan in decisions to expand capital plant, to lay off surplus workers, and to develop new products.

**** US is still the largest economy in the world, Although China GDP is second to US, it's per capita income still comparable to african nation.

Reason number 8

us navy seal
The United States Navy's Sea, Air, and Land (SEAL) teams are the U.S. Navy's principal special operations force and a part of the Naval Special Warfare Command (NSWC) and SOCOM.

"SEAL" is always capitalized in reference to members of the Naval Special Warfare community. The acronym is derived from their capacity to operate at sea, in the air, and on land. In the War on Terror, SEALs have been utilized almost exclusively for land-based operations, including Direct Action, Hostage Rescue, Counter Terrorism, Special Reconnaissance, unconventional warfare and foreign internal defense operations. Without exception, all SEALs are male members of the United States Navy. An exchange program with the Coast Guard, which graduated three Coast Guardsmen as SEALs, was suspended in 2011.

****US Navy Seal ration 1:10, even though chinese has  a large amount of army, still they are lack in equipment and obsolete weapon come from Russia.

Reason number 9

hulc us armyFollowing lab evaluation tests, Lockheed Martin's ruggedized HULC (Human Universal Load Carrier) robotic exoskeleton is now undergoing biomechanical testing at the U.S. Army Natick Soldier Research, Development and Engineering Center in Natick, Massachusetts. The biomechanical testing will assess the effectiveness of the HULC in improving the endurance and reducing the risk of injury to soldiers by comparing the performance of soldiers carrying identical loads, both with and without the device.

Reason number10

bigdog robotRemember the Big Dog robot that moves in such a lifelike manner, it is almost uncanny and unnerving? The folks at Boston Dynamics have made improvements to it by weaponizing Big Dog, allowing future robots on the battlefield to fight our wars without running the risk of injuring or getting our soldiers killed since Big Dog can be controlled remotely from afar.
